I have finished my first semester in the PhD program I am in. The program has been keeping me pretty busy with various reading and writing activities. I have not had much time for extra curricular programming activities. I received all A's in my courses.
Additionally, we are expecting our first child to be born in the next few weeks. So I will need to learn to juggle my priorities.
My next coding endeavor is shaping up to be a Django web application. I have been toying around with it conceptually with a few different programming languages and my proficiency in python and desire to use a “batteries included” framework has lead to selecting Django.
Ruby on rails seems rather cool as well, but I don't know Ruby and would rather spend my time developing an application than learning a new programming language right now.
I have also been learning about local AI deployment, and langchain. I have been learning a little bit about how to utilize GPU's with AI deployments. Anyways I am wondering if LLM's can assist with some aspects of my application.
Time will tell. Thanks for reading!
